This is how Canada plans to save California's ass (pardon the pun).

If it's yellow, let it mellow

The yellow button does a 3-liter flush (or litre if you're from the other part of Canada) and the brown does a 6-liter flush.  A normal toilet always does a 15 liter flush.  I know this because they posted instructions on the toilet paper dispenser.  This was, of course, nothing more than marketing and reading material because I think the color coding pretty much gets the point across.

We left at 5am this morning headed to Vancouver.  Grabbed a rental car and made the drive up to Whistler.  This is my first time here and my thought is "Man! Is this beautiful country..." 

All throughout the drive, my mind was fiddling with the idea of saying "screw it all" and moving up here, getting some great glass-walled condo in downtown Vancouver or a cabin in the San Juans, or a great little cottage in Whistler.

One can dream...
